KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Our cozy cabins are designed mainly for sleeping use, so space is limited when it comes to indoor activities. Guests should expect to spend the majority of their time outside. There's no such thing as too much fresh air!
Foolhardy Hill is off-grid; The cabins are free of electric, plumbing and gas connections meaning there is no air conditioning or heat. Solar and battery powered lighting systems are available at the cabins, however, guests should come prepared with back up light sources and their own portable charging stations. There is cell service at the property.
All guests must be 16+ years of age.
Foolhardy Hill is a self service base camp (think Airbnb outside). Management is only a quick text or phone call away and staff can be onsite within 30 minutes. While we do clean and disinfect units in-between each stay, guests are expected to leave the cabins and all property amenities in clean condition--sweep up behind your party and make sure to take all personal trash and belongings with you (we provide a dumpster right at the parking area). A team player mentality is key with this interactive lodging experience.
Our cabin and tent sites are accessible by foot only
and are a short 1 minute walk up a hillside from the
drop-off zone. Our campground is located on the side of a mountain with unpaved paths, so guests should be sure footed. We provide wagons and a mule cart to help transport your gear. *If there are members of your party that require an accessible site, please let us know as we do have one accessible cabin and can arrange for vehicle access.
By design, we offer a sustainable and social lodging experience. The cabins provide a private place to rest while the community fire pit and outdoor kitchen bring people together. We ask all guests to treat each other and the property with respect. Please be mindful when using shared amenities; clean up behind your party and make sure to share and work together.

Do you have tent sites or RV sites? We do offer three tent sites. Pricing is based off 2 guests and then there is a fee for each additional guest, so when making your reservation it is important that you enter the total number of guests before checking out. We do not offer RV sites at this time,
Do you allow Pets? All our sites are dog-friendly. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and are never to be left unattended. Owners must remove their pet's waste. Excessive barking/disturbances will not be tolerated. Cabin sites have a $5 fee per dog per night.
What are the Check-in/Check-out times? Self Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at 11am. We will send a check-in code for cabin sites prior to your arrival
Do you allow campfires? We have a large community fire pit (firewood provided) that is located in a beautiful area away from where people sleep---no more having to listen to your neighbors stay up all night by the fire---no more getting the ranger called on you for staying up all night by the fire...
What are the Quiet Hours? Quiet hours are 11pm to 7am. We expect all guests to collaborate and work together to keep Foolhardy Hill a fun and positive experience. Be Kind - Be Courteous - Have Fun!
Is Foolhardy Hill kid-friendly? All guests must be 16+ years of age.
Can we have day visitors? Day visitors are limited to 4 visitors per site for an additional fee of $10 per visitor per day. All day visitors must be 16+ years of age and be off the premise by 6pm.

Is there Electricity? Foolhardy Hill has a solar system that provides power to the bathhouse and pavilion and is designed to provide power to our essential amenities only. The cabins do not have any electrical hookups so guests should come prepared with their own portable power banks for charging their electronic devices along with personal flashlights/headlamps/lanterns. We do not have a way to power CPAP machines. There is no heat or AC inside the cabins.
